Le PRETERIT SIMPLE

CONJUGAISON pour les verbes réguliers

Forme affirmative  S + V + ed (sauf verbes irréguliers)

Forme interrogative  did + S + V

Forme négative  S + did + not + V

 On l'emploie pour une action :

• - passée
• - terminée
• - datée (déterminée, on sait quand l'action s'est passée)
• - sans lien avec le présent 

Marqueurs de temps:  last, yesterday, ago, in+date(ex : in 1974), in + mois (ex : in july), when, on + jour, the night before
ex : last month (le mois dernier), three years ago (il y a 3 ans)

Construis des phrases affirmatives, négatives et interrogatives.

• AFF :    He played tennis.       - She woke up at 7 this morning.
• NEG :   He didn't play tennis. - She didn't wake up at 7 this morning.
• Q :        Did he play tennis?    - Did she wake up at 7 this morning?
